Well, the time has finally come for me to leave for Kenya. I'm sitting in the airport and the fact that I'm going still hasn't quite hit me. My bags have been checked and all I have with me is a backpack and a small suitcase. Soon I'll be in Amsterdam and then it's off to Nairobi. I'll spend 3 days in Nairobi with my entire group of 49 volunteers and then i'LL BE "adopted" by my host family.
I'm not entirely overwhelmed but we will see how that goes. I don't have much time since we're about to board the flight. I'll hopefully get to post soon. I love you all.
